“School of Humanity has been the best thing we’ve found on our homeschool journey…This is truly an educational model which is giving my son an amazing start to anything he will do in the future.”
- Olivia, Parent“Reflecting on my younger self, I can only imagine how great it would have been to experience an SoH middle school…I’m excited to see the younger children thrive and love school!”
- Kaelyn, Learner“I saw my son respond to this in a way he has never responded to any educator or institution until now. He is blossoming, growing, learning, and truly flourishing.”
- Joey, ParentWe are proud to be paving the way for innovative online education.
Through our award-winning high school program, we have served learners from 27 countries across 6 continents globally. We’ve received international accreditation, won multiple awards, and even been featured in a PBS documentary.
But, we felt there was something missing.
What if we started earlier? What if we gave younger learners the same opportunities to thrive and flourish in a system designed to meet them where they are?
Welcome world, to the Middle School built for you.
School of Humanity reimagines how and what we learn to equip the next generation to create an exciting future for themselves and for humanity.
Instead of exams,
we learn through real-world projects.
Instead of a standardized curriculum,
we learn through personalized learning
journeys.
Instead of memorization,
we focus on whole-human development.
We have designed our Middle School based off feedback from our school community, to develop a truly learner-centered approach.
Here’s what our current families had to say about our Middle School launch:
We adopt the Mastery Transcript, an innovative approach to evidencing learning currently utilized by 380 schools globally.
Our online school is fully internationally accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Strategic Partner of EiM global schools, a learning community of 11,000+ strong.
Everyone’s journey is different. This is why at School of Humanity, you will have lots of options for how you can meet learning outcomes. Instead of learning through siloed subjects, our learners learn by tackling real-world challenges and developing projects that make a positive impact on the world.
Explore just some of the challenges our middle schoolers will be tackling:
As a global school, the world is our classroom. We have designed our Middle School to balance interactive online learning, with time for offline, parent-led activities.
Human Flourishing sits at the heart of our curriculum, where we guide all learners to develop purpose and meaning in life.
We place equal emphasis on “soft skills” alongside academics, as we understand their importance in today’s exponentially changing world.
Our Middle Schoolers learn through a combination of live, interactive workshops and self-paced learning.
Instead of subjects, learners have inspiring daily workshops. We don’t believe in lectures. All workshops are highly interactive, including games, activities, and group collaboration.
Arjun prefers to do most of his learning during the afternoons, leaving Fridays and the weekends free for extracurriculars, family time, and spending time with friends.
Bella prefers to spend four hours a day attending workshops and doing her self-paced learning. This leaves her more time in the afternoons and weekends for extracurriculars and in-person community activities.
With learners joining from across the world, our Middle School program is designed to foster new friendships, and connect families globally.
Our Middle School is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills they need to move onto their High School journey.
While most learners will choose to continue their School of Humanity journey at High School, we also provide exit transcripts for those exploring different pathways.
We provide our learners with:
Are you a curious and motivated learner with a desire
