Learning at School of Humanity is designed to be flexible.
Our High School experience brings together live and self-paced learning.
Learners can expect three hours of live sessions every day, four days a week.
Fridays are left free for creative flow and self-paced learning.
The balance is designed to both motivate and challenge learners, while giving them time to reset and connect with the knowledge they are gaining
about themselves and the world.
Instead of lectures, we have live workshops.
Explore the different live workshops offered on a weekly basis.
Interactive sessions where learners tackle real-world challenges. These workshops consist of group activities, discussions, games and collaborative exercises.
A weekly opportunity to learn more about yourself. These workshops focus on self-discovery, purpose-building, mindfulness, and personal growth.
Interactive workshops exploring specific skills needed for the future of work. Each week we hone in on a specific skill in depth.
A weekly session for learners to develop their Math skills, and apply Mathematical concepts to the challenges they are working on.
Our weekly advisory sessions guide learners for career and university preparation for life beyond High School.
Experience ongoing guidance and empowerment from global leaders who are industry experts.
Regular 1-1s with educators to support with personalized guidance.
To complement the live sessions, learners also have a personal
learning journey which is self-paced.
Each term, learners work with an advisor to curate their own unique curriculum from a range of the following:
We place a strong emphasis on human connection.
Throughout the year, learners have the opportunity to participate in:
At School of Humanity, no two weeks are exactly the same,
nor are two learners’ schedules exactly the same.
Our High School experience is unique by giving learners the freedom to choose
when to complete their self-paced learning.
Explore some sample schedules of our High Schoolers below.
Nicelle prefers to do most of her learning during the week and leaves Thursday and Friday afternoons open for her extracurricular activities.
Tom dedicates his Friday to activities outside School of Humanity, and feels inspired to complete his asynchronous work on Saturday, achieving better flow and focus.
We offer two cohorts for our High Schoolers.
You can find the timings for the live workshops for each cohort below.
Live sessions timings between 8am and 1pm GMT-4
Live sessions timings between 11:00am and 5pm GMT+4
It depends on the cohort! Considering that we have learners participating from many different countries, we do our best to organize cohorts by time zone and usually have at least two parallel cohorts across three different time zones. Learners can indicate their time zone when applying to our program.
There is lots of socialization at our school! Our workshops and live sessions are highly interactive, with lots of group activities, exercises, and discussions. We also host a lot of game and social nights – as well as in-person meet ups.
Absolutely not. There are three hours of live sessions every day, four days a week – leaving time for creative flow and self-paced learning. All of our live sessions are also highly interactive and social experiences.
We’ve got you! Learners receive 1:1 support anytime they need it during the program – whether it’s from a learning facilitator or industry mentor. We also organize weekly one-on-one check-ins with all learners every week and ensure you receive regular feedback on your work.
It depends on the program! Our High School requires a minimum of 30+ hours a week of commitment. Our Summer School requires a minimum of 18+ hours a week of commitment.
Our team try their best to be flexible. If you let us know in advance, we can accommodate sharing recordings of occasional missed sessions. We recommend attending all live workshops, as they are designed to be interactive, so watching the recordings is no substitute for live sessions!
